The Inukshuk monument installed in 1987 at Vancouver 's English Bay is an art installation by Alvin Kanak built out of grey granite. This large Inukshuk sculpture was commissioned by the Government of the Northwest Territories to be displayed outside their pavilion at Expo '86, and later was given to the city of Vancouver.
